Wexford GAA has confirmed that there have been six positive cases between their senior hurling and football panels.
Both panels were tested at the Ferns Centre of Excellence on Monday evening, with results arriving by early on Tuesday afternoon.
Tests for four senior footballers and two senior hurlers came back positive.
The Yellowbellies put their Leinster hurling title on the line against Galway on 31 October at Croke Park, while the footballers have two Allianz League rounds to complete before a provincial clash against neighbours Wicklow.
Wexford GAA Chairman Derek Kent did confirm that the under-20 hurlers have had their activities suspended until further notice as they look get a breakout under control in that panel.
